Excitedly waiting!!

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of ones' youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, But will speak with their enemies in the gate.

Blessed is every one who fears the Lord. Who walks in His ways.

When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.

Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants all around your table.

Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

Thanks for the support!!

Thanks to everyone who helped make our selling successful this summer. We hope to continue selling as long as we have veggies, but the heat is really putting a whammy on the garden. We had tomatoes and corn this past weekend, but only because we were selling it for our neighbour. Cantaloupes are in, and watermelons should be in real soon.

Interesting post I found - I also found it to be true

"Given the saturation of technology in our culture, it should not have surprised me to find seven flat-screen television sets mounted in a church. What surprised me is that the seven sets were mounted in one men’s bathroom. As I stood over a urinal where announcements and videos are constantly replayed to those seeking simply to empty their bladders, I remembered a conversation with a village woman in Liberia. I naively asked this woman, who was standing by a river, where children were both gathering water and bathing, how many children had died in their village from unsafe drinking water. This young mother started to count, and it was clear that there were more children than she was capable of counting. Finally she answered simply, ‘By me, three.’ This dear woman lost three of her own children to cholera (due to drinking river water) in one year. She was dumpfounded to hear that we flush our toilets in the United States with clean drinking water. How could we waste such a precious commodity like clean water when it meant the difference between life and death for her children? Her bewilderment at our wastefulness brought home the reality of our failure, as as I stood in this church restroom, I wondered what she would think of us if she could see this display of senseless wealth.”

Fresh Produce

We would like to invite everyone to come visit our veggie stand this summer. We hope to be selling every Saturday from 8AM-12PM. We will be in front of Lewis Furniture on HWY 80 in Clinton.

Produce ready now include spaghetti squash, yellow squash, zucchini, slicing cukes, pickling cukes, carrots, and okra. Coming soon- tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, watermelon, onions, cantaloupes, and green beans.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to grow and sell. I love seeing the kids excited about work and learning. But most of all, I love having one more venue for showing Christ's love to others. Please pray with us that we would obey God's word in 1 Corinthians 10:31 "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God".

Also- If anyone is interested in putting up veggies- such as canning or freezing. If you will let us know ahead of time, we can pick the quantity you need and deliver. We are already putting up whatever veggies we don't sell, so they will not ruin, and we are about to run out of space. My cell- 601-953-3050

Not long now!

Georgia and I should be welcoming our seventh child soon. Her due date is July 25th, 2011.

Deliveries have been relatively easy for us thus far. And we are thankful. However, I don't want to assume that it will always be that way. I want to be sure I'm trusting the Lord for our safety, and not just trusting that it's going to be "the same as always". As believers we walk from "faith to faith". Please pray with us as this exciting day approaches!

Also, we are praying for God's direction on a name. We may be getting close, but we don't have complete confidence it's the right name- so we'll keep seeking.

Eye opening

"Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be which go in there at: because strait is the gate and narrow the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" also- "Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? And in Thy Name have cast out devils? And in Thy Name done many wonderful works?' And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:13-14, 22-23

Jesus= The Way (narrow)= few find it

Broad way= wide gate= false Christianity= many are there

Psalm 119:17

Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
